Helicopter Called after Driver Tried to Ram Police

BRISTOW, Va. — After police were called to a home in Bristow for a report of someone brandishing a firearm, police had a react quickly when someone tried to hit police with a car, according to police reports.

More in a press release from Prince William police:

On February 17th at 10:58PM, police responded to the 12200 block of Tulane Falls Dr in Bristow (20136) for a subject brandishing a firearm. Officers responded to the area quickly and observed the suspect vehicle leaving the residence.

The driver, without headlights illuminated, accelerated and intentionally drove towards the officer’s vehicles. Two of the responding officers had to make evasive maneuvers to avoiding colliding with the vehicle. Officers continued to follow the vehicle to the dead-end of Emory Fall Ct where the driver bailed on foot. Officers, a police K-9, and the Fairfax County Police helicopter searched for the suspect who was not located. Officers were able to identify the driver as the accused, GROSS.

Two other occupants, WALKER and KORVAH, remained in the vehicle and were arrested after giving false information to investigating officers. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against GROSS. The investigation continues.

Wanted for 2 counts of attempted malicious wounding of a LEO and driving on a revoked license (Additional charges are pending)

Natasha Patrice WALKER, 21, of 11655 Charter Oak Ct #201 in Reston

Charged with providing a false ID to police and providing a false statement

Harmon Momolu KORVAH, 23, of 2121 Oram Pl in Herndon

Charged with providing a false statement
