Fire Rages at Unoccupied Home in Stafford County

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. -- A fire broke out at a home in the George Washington section of Stafford County last night.

No one was injured. The county’s fire and rescue department posted more information and a photo taken from the scene:

On Saturday February 16th at 5:57:50 p.m., Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department units were dispatched to a residential fire at 206 Beechwood Court in the Brookewood Farms Subdivision. At 5:32:53 p.m., the first arriving unit from the Falmouth Station reported, fire showing from a two-story split-level single family residence. Fire and Rescue personnel mounted an interior attack coordinated with a search for occupants. The Fire was under control within twenty minutes and the residence was found to be unoccupied.
