LAKE RIDGE, Va. — A fire broke out in a home near the Westminster Retirement village today.

Woodbridge, VA March 10, 2013 — 1:33pm Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters responded to the report of a house fire at 2031 Cheltenham Ct. Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported visible smoke from the back of the house. The fire was quickly located in the basement and was under control within 10 minutes.
Fire and Rescue units from OWL VFD, and Dale City VFD, responded to the incident. No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office.
