WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The Potomac Nationals have installed eight temporary phone lines for ticket sales after their phones went dark following the recent storm.
The P-Nats are set to take the field Independence Day after a long string of away games. Team spokesman Tim Swartz the best way to purchase tickets for the 6:35 p.m. Wednesday game which includes fireworks is to go online, but baseball fans can also call one of the eight temporary numbers to order tickets. Those who leave voice messages will be called back as soon as possible, said Swartz. Team officials note when their regular 703-590-2311 phone number works again the eight additional phone numbers will be disconnected.
Just before the storm hit Friday night, a fire broke out inside the Potomac Nationals management offices at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge. No one was injured, and the damage caused by the fire did not affect the stands.
