WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Mia Amado won the Cappie for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Helen Keller in “The Miracle Worker.” The Cappies Gala was held Sunday June 10 at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Mia is a sophomore theatre student in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts Program at Woodbridge Senior High School.
The Cappies is a program through which high school theater and journalism students are trained as critics, attend shows and write reviews for schools in Fairfax and Prince William County. The top reviews are then published in local and national newspapers.
