Search Links Man to North Stafford Auto Larcenies

NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Investigators identified a man they say can be linked to a series of 32 larcenies form cars in North Stafford.

Bill Kennedy of the Stafford sheriff’s department said several larcenies from autos have been reported over the last few weeks in the Shadow Woods and Towns of Hampton Oaks neighborhoods.

Authorities identified a suspect in the case, obtained a search warrant, and searched a home on Rover Court in the Towns of Hampton Oaks neighborhood where they found evidence linking the suspect to larcenies in the area, said Kennedy.

William J. Roseboro III, 25, is faces charges of grand larceny, possession of stolen property with the intent to sell, and obtaining money by false pretenses, said Kennedy.

According to Stafford County court records, Roseboro has a list of court offenses dating back to 2007.

The investigation into the larcenies is ongoing, said Kennedy.
