Officials searched the building and reported finding no bomb.
Officials at Northern Virginia Community Colleges Woodbridge Campus closed the building about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after a bomb threat was called in.
Police have been at the Woodbridge school since then investigating. No injuries have been reported.
The bomb threat comes the same week as classes and examinations for the school’s spring semester are being administered.
After stopping service earlier today, transit provider OmniLink is once again running buses along Neabsco Mills Road serving a stop at nearby Freedom High School, but is not serving a stop on the college campus.
The campus is expected to be closed for the rest of the day.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police in Woodbridge are on the scene of the Northern Virginia Community College campus where a bomb threat was reported late Tuesday morning.
The college has not posted an emergency alert on their website about the incident, as they have in past incidents when campus activities were impacted.
The threat comes about a week after a middle school in Stafford County was evacuated for most of the day after a bomb threat was reported there.
