Stafford, Va. — And then there were three. William Dawn took his name out of the hat of candidates who would like to be appointed Stafford’s Garrisonville District representative on the Board of Supervisors.
Dawn, a financial advisor, said his involvement in with his family, area boy scouts, and in his church would keep him from performing the job of supervisor to his best ability.

As his children grow older, Dawn said he would once again consider serving on a public board.
Sitting Board of Supervisors will interview the remaining three candidtaes at a special public meeting in Stafford’s Board Chambers tonight at 7 o’clock.
