Stafford, Va. –– A large car fire has closed at least two lanes of Interstate 95 south of the Garrisonville exit.
The fire was reported just after 3 p.m., at mile post 142, south of Garrisonville Road (Va. 610).
Fire crews on the scene reported a fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle, and quickly worked to douse the blaze, according to initial reports.
The right and center lanes of that portion of the highway were briefly closed due to the fire.
