Schools Holding Summer Job Fair

Woodbridge, Va. –– Prince William County Public Schools has 200 summer jobs for some helpful high schools students.

The school system’s summer job fair will be held Tuesday at Freedom High School at 15201 Neabsco Mills Road in Woodbridge, where students will be interviewed for teacher and office assistant positions that will open later this year during the schools’ summer remedial program.

Those who are hired will be paid $7.50 per hour and work with children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

“We are looking for children with great attitudes, self starters, and those who enjoy working with children who may have some daycare or babysitting experience,” said Prince William schools’ Supervisor of Alternative Education and Summer Programs Dr. Renee Lacey.

At least 400 students are expected to attend the job fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The same number of perspective hires is also expected to attend a similar job fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Stonewall Jackson Senior High School in Manassas.
