Belvoir Federal Credit Union celebrated its second-annual Family Fun Day at their branch at Ft. Belvoir.
On Feb. 26, over 200 attendees enjoyed games, music from a country music radio station and a catered lunch.
The credit union uses the event as a way to share financial education with the community, in addition to providing entertainment, according to Belvoir Credit Union spokeswoman Amy Shanks.
There were a number of activities where children could win prizes through games, such as the money “tornado” machine, where children had the chance to grab money and prizes blowing in the wind, a spinning wheel, and change counting.
Shanks shared that attendees also enjoyed a kid’s zone where they could color a coin counter to keep for future deposits.
Petunia the clown was on hand to make balloon animals in the childrens area as well.
