
Feds cut funding to telework centers
The federal government announced it will no longer fund a telework center in Woodbridge and several others like it, stating with the advent of cell phones and mobile computers federal workers no longer need a room of computers to get work done, reports the Washington Post.

Dog rescued from Potomac River
Fire crews were called last week to rescue a dog that was stuck on a ledge on the Potomac River off Marlborough Point in Stafford County. While the owners of the dog said they don’t know how it got there, they are sure glad to have the dog home, reports Fredericksburg.com.
