Video: Could it be snow?

The National Weather Service map for our region is now shaded in blue, which means a Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the Potomac Communities.

Forecasters say up to five inches of snow could fall beginning Wednesday afternoon into the evening.

Any snow that does fall will follow what could be a mixture of rain or wintry precipitation during the early afternoon hours.

The snow is expected to move out of the area by Thursday morning.
