Fire takes Stafford home

Stafford County, Va. –– One person was treated for minor burns Sunday after their home in Stafford County caught fire.

Fire and rescue crews were called to 1087 Ramoth Church Road at 8:55 p.m. after flames broke out there.

Fire crews arrived and learned everyone had made it out of the home of the house and then began to battle the blaze, which took 45 minutes to extinguish, said Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Mark Doyle.

Of the two adults who were home when the blaze broke out one was treated for minor burns.

One bystander who was not a victim of the house fire was taken to a local hospital after they suffered a medical emergency.
