Update

At 11:05 AM on Saturday, August 6, several 911 calls were received reporting that a house in the 11700 block of Lake Forest Drive was on fire.  The house is in the Buckhall area.  Reports included that there were occupants still in the house.  Fire and rescue units arrived on the scene reporting fire showing from windows on two sides of the house.  Fire crews began immediate entry and located a person in the burning house and rescued them.  At the time of the fire, three adults and two teenagers were home.  Two people were transported to a local hospital and one was flown to a regional hospital for treatment.  The house is 1 1/2 stories with a basement, and damage is estimated at $100,000.  The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation by fire marshals and the police.  Water to fight the fire was brought by tankers, and a “dry hydrant” on Split Rail Drive was utilized.  Water supply was adequate to fight the fire.
