Anderson recently presented an “Emerging Leader Scholarship” (ELS) to Gar-Field High School graduating senior Kacey M. Adams. The setting was at the annual Gar-Field High School Senior Awards Night in front of several hundred of her friends, family, and classmates.
Del. Anderson was a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets during his time at Virginia Tech and graduated in 1979. He entered the U.S. Air Force that same year and retired in 2009 as a full colonel after 30 years in uniform.

Prince William County School Board Chairman Milton C. Johns learned of Grant Lattin’s resignation first through an email.
Lattin resigned his position as the Occoquan District School Board representative last night and could not immediately be reached for comment, but he told Johns he was resigning for personal reasons. His resignation follows that of former Neabsco District School Board member Julie Lucas in 2009.
