OCCOQUAN, Va. — Some Occoquan residents on Friday spent the better part of the past two days cleaning up sludge and debris left behind by flood waters from the Occoquan River.
LAKE RIDGE, Va. — Another restaurant is coming to the growing Prince William Parkway corridor.
The Prince William County Planning Commission will decide if they will allow a Chick-fil-A restaurant to have a drive-through at a planned location on the corner of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road. The new restaurant will sit in front of the Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center, when constructed.

OCCOQUAN, Va. — There is flooding in Occoquan this afternoon after drenching rains yesterday caused the Occoquan River to spill its banks.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William County leaders on Tuesday night passed a nearly $989 million budget for fiscal year 2015 that will take effect July 1.
Without knowing how much money they’ll get from Richmond as lawmakers have yet to pass a statewide budget, local leaders set the tax rate at $1.148 per every $100 of assessed property value. The rate is four cents lower than last year’s tax rate, but average tax bills are expected to rise about 4.5%.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — This morning deluge of rain is already causing issues on the roads.
A tree fell across Blackburn Road in Woodbridge about 7:30 a.m. causing a temporary road closure, according to Rob Holtzhauer who sent PotomacLocal.com the photo of the tree on the road. The road connects U.S. 1 with Featherstone Road.
