MANASSAS, Va. — The choice to lead the Prince William Chamber of Commerce has been narrowed down to at least two candidates.
The finalist for the President and CEO job are Acting Chamber President Debbie Jones whose been with the organization who has lived in Prince William County for 33 years, and David Nolan, a Realtor and former president of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce in Florida.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The HOV lanes on Interstate 95 and 395 will close this weekend.

Owner of Devine Barbeque in Motion, and a Dumfries Town Councilman, Wood received his Bachelors Degree from Stratford University in 2011. He continued on at the for-profit college to obtain his MBA in hospitality management.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Voters in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District will head to the polls Tuesday, June 10, as incumbent Republican Rob Wittman faces challenger Republican Anthony Riedel in a Primary Election.
The June vote will mark the first time voters in Prince William County have been to the polls since some major changes were made to voting precincts.

HAYMARKET, Va. — The Haymarket Town Center has become a frequent site of flooding, but it’s more than just employees who work for the the tiny town’s government that is getting wet.
A real estate agency, a consulting firm, as well as a small shop called The Very Thing all rent space inside the Town Center located at 15000 Washington Street. The building is prone to flooding during moderate rain storms.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police said they found a small child alone, walking in a parking lot. Now, two men face criminal charges.

A round of severe weather moved through the region tonight knocking out power to homes, and possibly causing a fire at a home in Haymarket.
Fire and rescue crews were called to Lawson Drive about 7 p.m. where a home caught fire about the same time a severe thunderstorm packing lots of lightning was moving through the area. According to initial reports, lightning could be the cause of the blaze but there is not yet any official word as to the cause of the blaze.
A Gainesville woman was killed this past weekend on Interstate 95 this weekend.
