Rob Wittman (R, Va.-1) issued this statement to supporters upon his primary win in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — One person was burned during a kitchen fire this afternoon near Dumfries.
A helicopter was called to carry the patient to a local hospital for treatment.

A total of four families were displaced by Friday’s fire in Gainesville. Officials have credited a working smoke detector with saving lives.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A mother and father have been charged after police said they didn’t seek medical treatment soon enough for their injured child.
Police didn’t say where the child was injured, but did issue a press release with the following details:

The Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation is now selling its MyLink pass for teens, formerly known as the teen summer bus pass. The $30 pass is good for unlimited rides on OmniLink local buses that service Dale City, Dumfries, Lake Ridge, Quantico, Woodbridge, Manassas, and Manassas Park, as well as the Cross-County Connector bus that runs between Manassas and Woodbridge.

The problems have disrupted some testing taking place today.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The HOV lanes on Interstate 95 and 395 will close this weekend.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Voters in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District will head to the polls Tuesday, June 10, as incumbent Republican Rob Wittman faces challenger Republican Anthony Riedel in a Primary Election.
The June vote will mark the first time voters in Prince William County have been to the polls since some major changes were made to voting precincts.
