Was Quantico Town Mayor Kevin Brown wrong when he ignored the orders of his town council?
That question was batted about during a special meeting of the Quantico Town Council on June 16. Last year, the council voted and directed Brown to hang decorative banners with the U.S. Flag emblazoned on them onto light poles in the town.

Early in the morning on June 23rd, Prince William police responded to a call at a hotel on Dumfries Road in Dumfries for a robbery.
According to Prince William police, the victim – a 25-year old woman – was visiting the hotel. The victim stated that she met an unknown individual in the area, and he followed her back to the hotel.
A round of severe storms moved through the region Tuesday night cooling off temperatures that climbed into the triple digits during the day.

A portion of the southbound lane of Vint Hill Road at was closed a Burwell Road after a crash occurred.
Potomac Local reached out to the National Weather Service, and a spokesman confirmed that the severe weather over the weekend was a tornado.
Jim Lee from the National Weather Service provided a radar image of Manassas on Saturday at 7:40 p.m., which shows the velocity couplet and tornado.
