The Prince William Service Authority has installed flushing stations throughout the county to boost water quality.

According to a Service Authority release, seven automatic flushing stations have been added to the county’s 1,000 mile-long water distribution system.


Prince William police officers will soon be wearing body cameras.

According to a statement from Prince William police Senior Administrative Manager Thomas Pulaski, $3 million has been allotted for the cameras, by the Prince William County Board of Supervisors.


Prince William fire and rescue were called to a vehicle fire on a service road near Possum Point Road in Triangle.

According to the Prince William Fire Marshal’s Office, responders from the Dumfries Triangle Volunteer Fire Department found a BMW on blocks on fire at the scene on the afternoon of June 6.


This year the Virginia General Assembly passed two bills that called for the building of two new veteran’s care centers in the state – one in Northern Virginia and one in Hampton Roads.

Currently, there are two existing veteran’s care centers in Virginia – the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke and the Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center in Richmond.
