The roads last night were treacherous across the region, as less than an inch of snow that fell quickly turned to mush, and then to ice.
Vehicles traveling on Route 610 slipped and slid all over the roadway as drivers tried to make their way home.
We don’t see this very often around here.
A blizzard warning goes into effect at 1 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Sunday. This latest warning from the National Weather Service upgrades yesterday’s blizzard watch.
Planners in Prince William County remained focused on Dale City.
A public workshop last summer on the revitalization and reshaping of the bedroom community. On Tuesday, county leaders were briefed on the plan which includes developing multi-story buildings, new homes and finding new uses for parking lots that largely go unused.
