On July 13, 2016 at 3:02 PM, Fire Marshals responded to the 15200 block of Grist Mill Terrace in Woodbridge regarding an electrical hazard complaint in which a meter box had been jumped. Upon further assessment by Fire and Rescue, it was discovered that the meter circuit had been jumped by using two 4-gauge copper wires with welds holding it in place. This created a very dangerous situation with the potential of risk to nearby occupants. Further investigation revealed the suspect, John Anthony McClain.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe will speak at Leesylvania State Park on Tuesday.

He’s expected to make a budget announcement that will have to do with the funding of conservation efforts in state waterways and on land, according to a Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation spokeswoman.
