On Monday, November 21st , at 11:15 a.m., fire and rescue crews were dispatched to a structure fire in a two-story single family home located in the 4900 block of Frishman Court in Woodbridge.

On Sunday, November 20th at 12 :47 p.m., fire and rescue crews were dispatched to a structure fire in a single family home located in the 7200 block of Ridgeway Drive [near] Manassas.
LAKE RIDGE, Va. — The intersection of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road is flawed.
“I am surprised that this intersection is still functioning as it is,” said Prince William County Transportation Director Rick Canizales.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On November 19 at 2:57PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to Dumfries Rd and Nottingham Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The investigation revealed that the operator of a 2013 Kawasaki 1000 motorcycle was traveling southbound on Dumfries Rd in the above area at an excessive speed when the motorcycle collided with the driver of a 1997 Honda Accord who was turning onto Nottingham Dr from northbound Dumfries Rd. The operator of the Kawasaki 1000 was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The other driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in this crash. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. No charges are pending at this time.
MANASSAS, Va. — The owners of Smoothie King in Manassas plan to expand into Prince William County.
Franchise owners Jamie and Tim Smith plan to open a new location in Bristow Center at the corner of Nokesville and Linton Hall roads, and another location in Haymarket.

Malicious Wounding – On November 17 at 11:13PM, officers responded to the Exxon service station located at 8289 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 19-year-old man of Manassas, was stabbed by an acquaintance following an altercation over a previous drug transaction. The victim and suspect were initially involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body. After the incident, the suspect fled in a silver, 4-door sedan. A witness was able to drive the victim to a nearby hospital where police were contacted. The victim’s injury is considered non-life threatening. This incident was not random. The investigation continues.
