PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — When it comes to the Kline property development, Prince Wiliam County Public Schools made itself clear.

“The School Division is not in support of any rezoning that increases student capacity at schools already at or in excess of 100% capacity or a rezoning that causes student capacity at any school to exceed 100% capacity, unless proffers sufficient to mitigate the impact to the School Division are received,” stated Prince William schools Supervisor of Land Acquisition and CIP Planning in a November 3, 2016 document to the school board.


WOODBRIDGE — Starting Oct. 1, 2020, you’ll need a REAL ID to board a domestic flight in the U.S.

Virginia’s DMV will be the place to get the new REAL ID, and it’s going to need some additional space to serve the flying public who will be applying for the credential, said Delegate Richard Anderson (R-Prince William).

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — New building construction for two industrial parks along Balls Ford Groveton roads in Prince William County will offer economic growth opportunities for the County.

The two parks, Premier Business Park and Merritt I-66 Business Park, are both zoned for industrial use and are being marketed to industrial and distribution companies as part of the county’s economic development strategy.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — Fire and rescue officials in Prince William County are watching the disastrous effects Hurricane Harvey is having in Houston.

OCCOQUAN — Tourists flock to the tiny town of Occoquan just off Interstate 95 for the shops, restaurants, water views of the river, and special events in the town’s new River Mill Park.

All this has made for a tough time for drivers searching for a parking space.
