The Town of Dumfries held their first-ever Government Contractors/Technology Job Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. The purpose of holding a Government Contractors/Technology Job Expo was to Connect the Defense/Technology Industry located in the Town of Dumfries with talent located in the community and the Greater Prince William County area. The town is fortunate to have several nationally and worldwide government contractors located within the town limits and right-outside the town limits. With the close proximity to Quantico Marine Corp Base, the Town of Dumfries is becoming a natural hub for defense and technology related companies.
