WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Residents can take back their unwanted or unused prescription drugs this weekend.
Potomac Mills mall will serve as a prescription drug take back drop off point, where residents can bring their unused prescription drugs to be destroyed by state and federal officials.
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — During the lunchtime hour Wednesday, Stafford County Board of Supervisors Chairman Susan Stimpson talked about the county’s public schools.

QUANTICO, Va. — Mayor Isis Tharpe came to the Marines with a concern. Some residents of her Town of Quantico – the only town in the U.S. located within a military installation – said it was taking too long to get through base security gates to get to their homes.
On Wednesday, April 18, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce recognized Delegate Luke Torian with The Economic Competitiveness Award, which recognizes legislators who worked to improve Virginia’s business climate during the 2012 legislative session. Delegate Torian sponsored legislation that gives local governments regulatory flexibility needed to attract and retain businesses engaged in providing services in support of national defense.
After the press conference when asked to comment Torian said “I am honored to be receiving the Economic Competitiveness award from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. It is my hope that we see many positive developments from the passage of HB 406”. Torian said, HB406 will “allow companies to know that we are serious about them being a part of our community.”
The Virginia Chamber of Commerce recently released its 2012 General Assembly Report Card. Delegate L. Scott Lingamfelter (R-Prince William, Fauquier) was pleased to receive a score of 98 percent on the legislative report which informs citizens on key business related votes taken by the General Assembly during the 2012 Legislative Session. The Virginia Chamber of Commerce compiles annual voting records of all General Assembly members on important legislation affecting business and industry in the Commonwealth.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – On a weekday afternoon in North Carolina, the Winston-Salem Dash broke open a tight game with a six run sixth en route to a 14-0 win over the Potomac Nationals. The big hit in the inning was a Grand Slam from Marcus Semien which extended the Dash lead to 8-0.
LHP Matt Grace started strong for Potomac. Through five innings, he had just given up two runs in the first inning with one unearned.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A driver was robbed while sitting in the driver seat of his car by a man asking for directions, police said.
The robbery took place at the intersection of Telegraph Road and Morse Lane in Woodbridge, behind a Target store, at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday.
