Prince William County School Board Chairman Milton C. Johns learned of Grant Lattin’s resignation first through an email.
Lattin resigned his position as the Occoquan District School Board representative last night and could not immediately be reached for comment, but he told Johns he was resigning for personal reasons. His resignation follows that of former Neabsco District School Board member Julie Lucas in 2009.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police in Woodbridge are investigating a shooting tonight in the 2900 block of Wetherburn Court.
Two adults are reported to have been shot, and one of them was flown to a local hospital, according to police. Their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The Prince William County Board of County Supervisors will hold an Armed Forces & Memorial Day ceremony at the War Memorial in Freedom Park on Saturday, May 19 at 2 p.m.
The ceremony will honor the men and women who serve our Country and remember all of those who lost their lives defending our freedoms. This year the county will honor the following who lost their lives defending our country: Sean T. Callahan, Sean R. Cutsforth and Robert M. Kelly. The public is invited to attend.
