An incident occurred at Chipotle on South Gateway Drive, where a couple was involved in an assault and firearm disturbance. A woman in an intoxicated state assaulted a victim while her boyfriend brandished a shotgun and sent threatening messages, police said. The woman was charged with multiple offenses, including assault and battery, while the boyfriend faced charges for brandishing a firearm and making threats.

In another incident, a road rage confrontation at 610 Car Wash led to an assault. The suspect, angered by being cut off in traffic, confronted and assaulted the victim. He was charged with assault and battery.


Police arrested a 35-year-old man from Woodbridge for indecent exposure. The arrest followed an incident on September 27, where the suspect exposed himself to a woman in a parking lot on Mapledale Plaza in Dale City, police said. Witnesses intervened, and the suspect left the scene. He was later identified and served with a court summons.

Additionally, officers responded to a report of reckless handling of a firearm at Davenport Insulation in Manassas. Between September 25 and October 1, a bullet struck an exterior window of the building. Fortunately, no injuries or further damage were reported.


An incident unfolded on Claiborne Avenue, where a woman was charged with assault and battery after a confrontation with her boyfriend. The altercation led to damage to his bedroom door. Later, she violated a protective order related to the same incident, resulting in additional charges. Despite these charges, she was released on personal recognizance.

In another incident, a fraud case was reported at Wells Fargo on Garrisonville Road. A victim was deceived by a caller pretending to be from the bank’s fraud department, resulting in the loss of her money.


WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Police are investigating a deadly shooting that took place late Wednesday outside the Alamo Drafthouse at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center.

Officers were called to the 15200 block of Potomac Town Place at 10:48 p.m. on October 2 and found two men with gunshot injuries. A 21-year-old man, later identified as Jasiya Ahmar Vaughn of Woodbridge, had been shot multiple times and was found on the sidewalk near the theater. First responders provided aid, but Vaughn died from his injuries at the scene.


Authorities are investigating an attempted burglary at Trucordia Insurance on Ambassador Drive near Manassas. Officers responded on September 30 after discovering pry marks on the exterior doors. The investigation suggests that the attempt occurred sometime since September 16. Fortunately, no entry was made, and nothing was reported missing from the premises.

An incident occurred at Stafford Middle School on October 1, 2025, when a student made verbal threats and displayed a knife while on the school bus, according to the Stafford sheriff’s office.

Deputy R.L. Beasley, who was performing his School Resource Officer duties, was informed of the situation. With the assistance of school staff, the knife was confiscated, and the student was charged with weapon possession on school property and threats to kill, according to the Stafford sheriff’s office.


A driver was charged with driving under the influence after running a red light at Warrenton Road and Village Parkway.

Deputy A.M. Oliveira observed the violation and pulled over the Hyundai, according to the sheriff’s blotter. The driver claimed the light was green and admitted to smoking marijuana, though he insisted he doesn’t drink due to his religion. He was charged and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.


In Fredericksburg, several individuals were arrested on charges of driving under the influence. Among them, a 38-year-old man from Fredericksburg was charged with a second DUI offense within five years. Additionally, a 40-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both from Fredericksburg, were arrested for first-time DUI offenses.

Other incidents included thefts reported on Emancipation Highway and Fall Hill Avenue, where a wallet, car keys, and a phone were stolen. A license plate was also reported stolen from Dunmore Street.


A 31-year-old man from Woodbridge was charged after attempting to assault a law enforcement officer at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. The incident occurred on September 29 when officers responded to a report of an individual threatening staff at the hospital.

Upon arrival, the man attempted to charge at an officer and later tried to strike the officer while being detained. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. The man was subsequently taken into custody and charged with attempted assault and battery on a law enforcement officer.


Stafford sheriff’s deputies were called to Cove Court following a report of gunshots and a child screaming. This was identified as another swatting attempt at the residence, as no disturbance was found upon investigation.

In another case, a woman was arrested for DUI after crashing her vehicle on the Chatham Bridge. She admitted to consuming whiskey and was charged with driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol content between .15 and .2.
