Prince William County Animal Services Center is working to reunite lost pets with their owners. Between February 7 and February 10, 2025, several stray animals were turned into the shelter. In an effort to assist pet owners, the center posts photos of strays on its social media pages a few times each week.

However, the center does not respond to questions about specific animals via Facebook. If you believe your pet may be at the shelter, you should contact them directly by calling (703) 792-6465, emailing [email protected], or visiting the center in person.

Grant may look big in pictures, but he’s a small and lovable hound mix, weighing just 23 pounds. This sweet pup is currently in short-term foster care, but he’s searching for a permanent home where he can thrive.

Grant does well with other dogs but could be happy as the only pet in a home as long as he has human companionship. While he craves love and affection—his tail wags whenever someone pays him attention—he’s still timid, so a home with children ages eight and up would be the best fit.

If you’re a Lab lover, Raven is waiting for you! This one-year-old Labrador mix is full of energy and enthusiasm, just as you’d expect from her breed. She has experience living with kids, cats, and dogs, making her a great fit for an active and pet-friendly household.

Raven was returned to the Spotsylvania County Animal Shelter because she does best in a home with a fenced yard. Without one, she has a tendency to wander, so her ideal home includes a secure space or committed leash walks.

Echo is working hard on potty training, though he still thinks “inside or outside?” is more of a suggestion than a rule. He’s curious about cats, does well with other dogs, and is eager to find a loving family. However, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure a good fit.
