Bernard Lawrence “Larry” Moss, Jr. of Woodbridge, VA went peacefully to join the Lord on April 29, 2021 at the age of 67.
Larry was born on October 31st, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Bernard L. Moss, Sr. and Fernella Falk Moss; sisters, Teresa Bluff and Rebecca Dean.
Jose (Joe) Fuentes, 62, of Woodbridge, VA. Passed away on April 28,2021.
Jose (Joe) Fuentes was born in New Braunfel, TX. to Cruz Fuentes and Antonia Espinoza Fuentes on September 27, 1958. He went to school at Sinton, TX where he got his High School Diploma. He married June Louise Fuentes. He worked as an Electrician for Dynalectric for 30 years where he has received many awards and plaques. He was a veteran, and served in the Air Force, and was awarded an Honorable Discharge. He was involved in Baseball, football, softball, he rode his Harley motorcycle. He liked to do his lottery tickets and scratch offs. He was registered with Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Through his church he had received his Catechism,
The National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) will reopen to the public on Monday, May 17, after a temporary closure related to the coronavirus. The museum team is excited to welcome visitors while taking great care to ensure the wellbeing of visitors, volunteers, and staff.
Face coverings must be worn by all visitors over the age of six, and are highly recommended for children between the ages of two to six. All staff and volunteers are also required to wear face coverings and will be walking throughout the Museum to answer questions and ensure proper social distancing.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Doris, at the age of 110 on 30 April 2021. We were so blessed to have had our mom in our lives for such a long time. She had a deep faith that gave her strength, perseverance, and love of family throughout her life. She was born to William Enoch and Mary Lucinda (Williamson) Benson on June 9th 1910 in Glasco, Kansas, and was the last remaining child, being pre-deceased by her siblings, Ross, Wilma, Hazel June, Bernice, Clarence, Marjorie, and Mary Alice.
Doris was a nurse in Emporia, Kansas, for three years after nurses training, and in 1935 married Joseph McDowell Woodring from Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, in Washington, DC, where they made their home, eventually moving to Alexandria, VA, then Falls Church, VA. She moved to Westminster at Lake Ridge in 1995 after being a widow for 5 years. She was in independent living until she broke her leg in 2014 and she finally moved to the Assistant Living Unit where she lived for 6 years , then last April 2020 after a fall, she was moved to the Health Care Center, where she lived out the rest of her long life. She lived at Westminster for a total of 26 years, 3 months and 16 days. A special thanks to each and everyone at Westminster as you all played an important role in her exceptional care over the years.
John Mitchell Kirsch (“Jack”) passed away on April 22, 2021 in the Manassas, Virginia residence that he called home for the past 53 years.
Mr. Kirsch was born September 17, 1926 in Erie, PA, the eldest son of the late Joseph Edward and Emma Romaine Kirsch. Following his tour of duty in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, Mr. Kirsch married Charlotte Louise Kunz (“Liz”) on August 9, 1948. On September 25, 1950, Mr. Kirsch began what would become an illustrious 27 year career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). As a Special Agent in the field, Mr. Kirsch handled and/or supervised numerous major incidents, including bank robberies, extortions, kidnappings, and fugitive investigations. During his tenure with the FBI, Mr. Kirsch was stationed in Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; Pittsburgh, PA; and Quantico, VA.

The Prince William County Government has launched a new website.
The county chose a new address for the site, now pwcva.gov, shedding the old pwcgov.org which dates back to the 1990s. When pwcgov.org is entered, users are automatically redirected to the new site. It’s a massive website containing information for the operation of the county government, the second-largest in Virginia.
