STAFFORD, Va. – A head-on collision between a pickup truck and an SUV injured at least three people and shut down a road in western Stafford County today. The accident occurred before noon at the intersection of Poplar and Stefaniga roads, shutting down Stefaniga in both directions.

QUANTICO, Va. – The Navy Criminal Investigative Service identified the shooter who killed two Marines and then himself at Quantico Marine Corps Base as an Iraq war veteran.

STAFFORD, Va. — Prospects of extra money going to Stafford County schools next year doesn’t look promising.
MANASSAS, Va. — With a year on the job, Manassas City Manager John Budesky will leave his position to be closer to his family and care for an ailing relative.
Budesky met with the City Council in a closed session Monday night to discuss the matter. His departure was announced to city government staff Tuesday morning.
LAKE RIDGE, Va. — Questions about what started a two-alarm blaze on Madeira Court in Lake Ridge earlier this month remain, but investigators haven’t given many answers.
A team of Fire Marshals from Prince William County are investigating the incident that left one man badly burned and occupants of at least two town homes on the street.
