MANASSAS, Va. — A car drove up an embankment at the Bull Run Shopping Center near Manassas.
Police, as well as fire and rescue crews were called to the scene near the intersection of Sudley Manor Drive and Ashton Avenue about 12:30 p.m.

For the fourth consecutive year, Police Officer Jeremy Schenck was awarded a Law Enforcement Award of Excellence for “outstanding commitment in the fight against drunk driving in the Greater Washington area” from the Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP).
PRICNE WILLAIM COUNTY, Va. — Ramunda Young will now serve on the Prince William County Human Rights Commission.
Young was appointed to the 9-member board by Prince William Neabsco District Supervisor John Jenkins. The 20-year-old commission works to prohibit discrimination of county residents by race, sex, color, or religion.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Crews on Thursday were out affixing traffic signals to steel poles at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Featherstone Road in Woodbridge.
The new poles will eventually replace the lines that have been used to suspend signal lights over traffic at this busy intersection.
