NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Virginia Senator Mark Warner will come to North Stafford today to talk about his reelection bid.
The incumbent one-term Senator who previously served four years as Virginia’s Governor starting in 2002 announced he’s seeking relection in the U.S. Sentate on May 28.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Voters in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District will head to the polls Tuesday, June 10, as incumbent Republican Rob Wittman faces challenger Republican Anthony Riedel in a Primary Election.
The June vote will mark the first time voters in Prince William County have been to the polls since some major changes were made to voting precincts.
HAYMARKET, Va. — The Haymarket Town Center has become a frequent site of flooding, but it’s more than just employees who work for the the tiny town’s government that is getting wet.
A real estate agency, a consulting firm, as well as a small shop called The Very Thing all rent space inside the Town Center located at 15000 Washington Street. The building is prone to flooding during moderate rain storms.

FALMOUTH, Va. — There is a now a plan to improve the parking lot at the Historic Port of Falmouth Park, and with it restrict access to a popular beach on the Rappahannock River.
The proposed plan, with an overall $230,000 price tag, calls for building a split rail a fence in the park near the river shoreline. It’ll mean removing a fence and gate that now that sits at the park’s entrance on River Road.
