MANASSAS, Va. — Police in Manassas have ruled the death of a man found stabbed to death inside a garbage dumpster a homicide.

DALE CITY, Va. – On August 14, U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force obtained a warrant to search a home in Dale City and found various drugs including heroin, cocaine, and marijuana, as well as money. According to the report, the man intended to distribute the drugs and was arrested.

City of Manassas, Virginia. . . On Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014 at 10:33 a.m. Manassas City Police were called to the scene of a suspicious death in the 8900 block of Nicol Lane. Neighbors had discovered a body located near a dumpster area. After further investigation, Police determined that the victim, a 26 year old male, was killed by apparent stab wounds. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family. More information will be forth coming as the investigation
