By now, I hope you’ve made it where you are going for Thanksgiving.
For my wife and I, we spent the day traveling on Virginia highways making our way over the river and through the woods to grandma’s house. This is the third time we’ve made the annual trip to be with family for this special holiday.
LAKE RIDGE, Va. — The intersection of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road is flawed.
“I am surprised that this intersection is still functioning as it is,” said Prince William County Transportation Director Rick Canizales.

Malicious Wounding – On November 21 at 12:30AM, officers responded to investigate a shooting which occurred in the area of Olde Port Ln and Graham Park Rd in Triangle (22172) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile of Dumfries, was walking in the above area when he was struck in the leg by a bullet. The victim then called a family member who drove him to an area hospital for treatment and police were contacted. The victim was not cooperative with investigators. At this point, this incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
