A long life disciple of God’s Ministry – Kenneth C. Kiser, Sr. 72 formerly of Woodbridge and Stafford passed away August 27, 2013. God has chosen to take one of his children home to paradise to have comfort, guidance, and assurance. Kenneth was a fighter for he fought several years with several medical conditions.

God was his Commander who provided him strength to go forward.


Susan Fierko Albicker was born on January 16, 1952 to Francis Fierko and the late Anna Bezak Fierko in Philadelphia, PA. She passed away on August 26, 2013 at the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, NC after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer.

Susan began her career as a classroom teacher in New Jersey and spent over 25 years as an administrator at Minnieland Day Schools in Virginia, where she touched the lives of countless students and teachers. Susan’s life was devoted to raising her family, helping others through volunteer work including the church choir and food pantry, and living each day to the fullest. She loved to sing, dance and spend time at the beach.


Robert Wayne Gentry, 63, of Rixeyville died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 9, 1950 to Frances Davis of Palmyra and the late John W. Gentry.

Mr. Gentry was owner and operator of Gentry’s Tree and Landscaping for over 45 years. He believed in hard work and was dedicated not only to his family and friends but his lifelong customers. He took pride in his work and family. He also enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and was a member of Culpeper Moose Lodge.


Helen Gertrude Liming Gibson, 82, of Stafford County, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Gibson grew up in the Joplin Community in Prince William County. During her adult life she made her home in Stafford, raising 10 children. She worked for the Free Lance Star as a carrier for more than 20 years where she enjoyed serving her customers and friends. She was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was the treasurer for UMW for many years. Through her service in the church, she touched many in her community of Widewater.


David Bryan Lee, 45, passed away August, 7, 2013. David was born in Prince William County on July 19, 1968.

He leaves behind his mother and father, Jill and Charles Lee (Triangle , VA) ; his brother, Jeff and his wife Debbie Lee (Triangle , VA) ; his grandmother, Beryl Duvall (Woodbridge, VA) ; his uncles, John Duvall (DC) and Mike Lee (Triangle , VA) ; nephews, Jeff, Jr (Manassas) and Colton Lee (Triangle, VA) ; niece, Lauren Lee (VA Beach) ; his aunt and uncle, Gail and Tom Brown (Point Harbor, NC); step daughter, Sierra Shelton (Stafford, VA) ; step son, Chris Tassi (TX);cousins, Jonathan Brown (Point Harbor, NC), Cody Crenshaw (Triangle, VA) and many family members and friends in NC and LA.


Trevor Austin Blake, a strong brave boy received his wings Sunday August 11, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Trevor has moved on to fulfill his mission of watching over all of us and all the children faced with this awful disease. He is survived by his parents Shannon and Brandon Nuzum, and Gary Blake, his Grandparents Robert and Susan (Redinger) Hart, Mark and Donna Blake, Bruce and Marcia Nuzum, his brothers and sisters Sydney Blake, Ashton and Brooklyn Nuzum, Jeanne Martin, his faithful companions Jack, JJ, Lucky and Gizmo, cousins Tyler, Austyn and Jared Dingus, Palmer Hart, Tyler and Kaylie Blake, Kyler Allison as well as other numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and family members.

Family, friends and all who care are invited to celebrate Trevor’s life on Thursday August 15, from 6-9 pm at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA 22193 and on Friday from 3-4:00 at the Hylton Memorial Chapel 14640 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192 where a Celebration of his life will begin at 4 p.m.
