Master Chief Albert Victor Poillucci, U.S. Navy (Ret.) Formerly of Allston, Massachusetts –

Retired Master Chief Albert Victor (“Vic”) Poillucci born December 20th, 1937, entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2015. He proudly served 24 years in the United States Navy. He was highly decorated and attained the highest enlisted rank of E-9. Dad was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign War, The Republican National Committee and the Council of Logistics Engineering Professionals. He was astute with his civic responsibilities teaching American History classes to potential immigrants. As a true patriot he volunteered teaching high school students (and many more) the significance and history of Flag Day and was a huge supporter of the VFW Patriots Pen scholarship program.


David W. Barger, 59, of Woodbridge, Virginia passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30th 2015 at Fairfax hospital after a brief illness. He was surrounded by loved ones as he peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, the late Gilbert Barger and Peggy Barger, his brother Kenneth Barger and his wife Carrie Bain-Barger.


ELIZABETH LAW WATKINS, 92, Professor and Beloved Aunt

Elizabeth Watkins died quietly in her sleep March 19 at Westminster Retirement Community, VA, after a brief illness. Dr. Watkins made a heart-filled impression on everyone she met, known for being a witty, wise, intelligent, and gracious person; and one who left the world a better place than she found it.


Jean (“Jeanie”) McKee Dunivin, a long-term resident of Lake Ridge, Prince William County, Virginia, died from respiratory complications February 27, 2015. She was 85 years old. She is remembered as a floral designer, teacher, philanthropist, and prominent local artist whose life’s work reflected her passion for color and design and her compassion for family and friends. Among her most notable artistic works are a series of stained glass panels on permanent display at public buildings throughout Prince William County.

Jeanie was born at the Cook County Illinois Hospital just three weeks after the 1929 stock market crash. Born into an artistic family, her father, John Dukes McKee, was a successful commercial artist and her mother, Helen, was a photographer. Jeanie grew up in La Grange, Illinois during the Great Depression.


Ridgeley, W.Va. – Gary Charles Largent , 53 of Box 154, died Monday, Feb. 23rd 2015 unexpectedly. He was born in Stafford, Va. June 7th 1960, son of the late Charles D. Largent. He was also preceded in death by his sister Diane Largent, his step bother David Butterfeild. Mr. Largent was employed by Schroeder Industries, Cumberland, Maryland as a labor. He was a member of the American Legion, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his mother Patricia Knight, Florida. Sorry to inform that there will be no services. Interment will be in Stafford, Va.


Gregory Dean Ross passed away on January 28, 2015, at the Medical Center in Fishersville, Virginia from complications following spinal surgery. He was born September 4, 1957, to Donald and Patricia Ross at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was 57 years old. He attended elementary and middle schools in Woodbridge, Virginia and graduated from Garfield High School in 1976. He worked as an independent remodeling contractor and painter of historical houses and, together with his wife, owned and operated The Stuffed Basket, a unique gift business in the town of Occoquan until moving to Massanutten. He leaves his wife, Margaret Wade Goodwin Ross, mother Patricia, sister Teresa, brother Mitchell, and stepsons Mark (wife Leslie) and Scott (wife Tammy), nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father Donald and stepson Wade Goodwin (wife Beth).


Major Angela M Erale, USA, of Montclair, VA, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, died in New Mexico on February 14, 2015. She was 33 years old.
Angela’s sudden passing is a blow not only to her family but also to the United States Army in which she so faithfully served. Angela was a veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. She was awarded two Bronze Star Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, an Army Achievement Medal, and numerous other awards.

Angela was born in Mobile, Alabama, and grew up in Montclair, VA. She attended Hylton High School and graduated with the class of 1999. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004, Angela screened for and was accepted into the Army Officer Candidate School in Ft. Benning, GA, and graduated in 2005.


William Allen Coppage Keller of Dumfries, VA, died peacefully and surrounded by family, Feb. 12, 2015. He was born in Hawaii in 1940 to Mary Virginia Coppage Keller and Navy pilot Clarence Armstrong Keller but considered himself a son of Virginia, where he was raised and generations of his family had lived.

He loved sports and played on every boys team at Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, VA. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially his beloved Duke Blue Devils, and, with his son Charles (Woody), the Washington Capitals.


Larry was born in Rowan County on March 26, 1947 to Olin Brown Weaver and Arline Safrit Weaver. He retired as Dean of Human Resources at Forsyth Technical Community College, employed with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Dept., a volunteer at the Midway Fire Dept. and Bostian Heights Fire Dept. in Salisbury and served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving is his wife Terry Parks Weaver of the home; his mother; a daughter, Lori Weaver Fuller (Hunter) of China Grove; a stepdaughter, Rachel Willey of Woodbridge, VA; three grandchildren, Tyler Fuller, Madison Fuller and Macon Fuller.
