Joe will be sadly missed by his loving wife Violet; his children and his extended family at the Brodnax Fire Department. A local memorial will be held at Brodnax Fire Department on Saturday, October 7, at 1PM and his burial services will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11am.

Joe Ann had worked for over 40 years for Inova Health System and had previously served as an ER Admissions Manager at Fair Oaks Hospital. Joe Ann was a longtime former member of National Gardens Baptist Church in Falls Church, VA and Woodbine Baptist Church in Manassas. She was exceptionally devoted to her family.

Louis Angelo (Lou) Balboni died from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. He was 84 years old. Lou is survived by Marie, his loving and devoted wife, his three children; Debbie Jones and husband Lynn, Arlene Stewart and her husband John, David and his wife Susan, his five grandchildren: Daniel Stewart (Sarah), Brian Stewart, Lauren Stewart, Nicole Collins, and Matthew Collins (Erin), a sister Rose Gallagher and her husband Mike of Wakefield, MA, their children; Lisa (Joe) and their children and Michael (Melissa) and their children.
Lou was born in Roxbury, MA and moved to Rosindale, MA as a preteen. He was one of two children born to Ermete and Adalgisa Grassilli Balboni, who had each come from the Ferrara area of northern Italy in their early twenties.

Command Sergeant Major Taylor was a 30 year veteran of the U.S. Army, who served with the famed 11th ACR (Black Horse) in Vietnam (1968-1969). He was a lifelong member of the NCOA and the AUSA. He was an avid runner and cyclist who enjoyed working on his own car, reading and talking about current events with his children and grandchildren.
