Larry M. Swails, 77, of Lockridge, Iowa, passed away March 20th, 2020 at his home in Woodbridge, Virginia with his wife Sandra L. (McElwee) Swails, by his side.

Larry was born on August 23rd, 1942 in Burlington, Iowa. He grew up in the Burlington, Wapello and New London areas until the family moved to Jefferson County in 1952, where as a young man he helped on the family farm.  He attended Clay Hill, a one room school house, until the 8th grade.  Larry then went onto graduate from Fairfield High School in June 1960.  Following graduation, and just before his eighteenth birthday, Larry joined the US Army on July 29th, 1960.


Mary Lou Jackson, 76, passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2020. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert (Bob) Jackson; her son Richard Jackson (Lisa); her daughter Patricia McLeod (John); her son Ronald Jackson; her grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Catherine Jackson, David McLeod, and Carly McLeod; and a great grandson, Caleb McLeod.

A visitation for Mary Lou will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 20 at 11:30 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 18825 Fuller Heights Road, Triangle, VA 22172. She will be laid to rest at Quantico National Cemetery.


Susan Gillette Robinson, 55, of Manassas, VA., formerly of Milan, IL, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on June 16th, 2020, after her long brave battle with paraganglioma cancer.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th, 2020 at Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22193 with a funeral mass taking place on Friday, June 19th, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 12975 Purcell Rd. Manassas, VA 20112. She will be laid to rest on a later date at Preemption Cemetery, in Sherrard, IL next to her sister. Cremation rites will be performed per her request.
