WOODBRIDGE — The search for the site of a new $37 million parking garage officially begins.
The Prince William County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday authorized county Transportation Director Rick Canizales to use nearly $300,000 for a study that will determine the best site for the commuter garage.
MANASSAS — Manassas could soon welcome its first rooftop restaurant.
The new eatery called Battle Street Bistro would be located at 9402 Battle Street next to BadWolf Public House and Okras.

RICHMOND — A Senate bill extending the moratorium on permanently closing coal ash ponds appears to be the only legislation on the issue poised to move forward from this General Assembly session.
Sen. Scott Surovell, D-Fairfax, introduced six pieces of legislation on coal ash, and coal ash ponds, where stored ash potentially risks contaminating groundwater.
