A special screening of Marvel’s new Avengers: Infinity War movie will be held on Thursday, April 26 — a day before the movie is released in theatres.

The special screening will benefit the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — It took more than a year to plan a burn at Manassas Battlefield National Park.

This past week, National Park Service rangers scorched 45 acres of battlefield parkland just outside Manassas where the place where the Civil War began, adjacent to the eastern edge of Brawner Farm.


TRIANGLE — Hiking is one of the most popular activities at Prince William Forest Park.

There are 16 trails spanning a combined 37 miles of federal parkland that span the gamut of terrain. Hikers can get a sense of what Northern Virginia was like before it was developed, with creekside views, areas surrounded by wildlife, small waterfalls, and the Chompawamsic backcountry area that requires hikers to obtain a permit.

Threats of Bodily Harm | Threats on School Grounds – On April 10 at 5:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in Woodbridge to investigate a threatening message against a student of Hylton High School located at 14051 Spriggs Rd in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim received several threatening messages communicated over the social media app “Instagram” from two user accounts that suggested an act of violence against the student while at the school.
