Brandishing Investigation *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On May 13, detectives with the Special Investigations Bureau identified the suspect involved in a brandishing that occurred on May 12 in the 13900 block of Promenade Commons St in Gainesville. Following the investigation, detectives obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Stephan Jackson HURST. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

STAFFORD — Three people, including a 15-year-old boy, is suspected of stealing a car with a dog inside from a WaWa store at 105 Garrisonville Road in North Stafford.
The suspected theft occurred on at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday, May 23.

MANASSAS — Candlemakers aren’t welcome in the small four-space parking lot behind Shining Sol Candle Company.
Manassas police served the firm’s owner, Pete Evick, with a no-trespassing order this month that prohibits Evick from walking out of the back door of his shop at 9109 Center Street in Downtown Manassas onto the pavement behind the building. If he does, Evick could be prosecuted, according to the trespass order.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On May 30 at 1:16AM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the Prince William Pkwy near Scenic Point Pl in Manassas (20112) to investigate a single vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that a 2005 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on the Prince William Pky in the above area when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
