MANASSAS — Police have yet to locate a man who they suspect called 911 and told authorities he was near George C. Round Elementary School, armed with a gun.
That 911 call about 1 p.m. Tuesday sparked a system-wide lockdown of all Manassas City Public Schools as police swarmed the area outside Round Elementary. No gunman was ever seen. Police pinged the cell phone used to call 911 to a location near Round Elementary, however, the cell phone has also not been found.

Found Human Remains – On June 5 at approximately 3:00PM, Prince William County detectives, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, located unidentified human remains in a wooded area near the 14800 block of Glenkirk Road in Nokesville (20181).
All three were charged with destruction of property and conspiracy to commit a felony

STAFFORD — Residents must wait another two weeks before they find out if Stafford leaders will fund the construction of a new courthouse.
The Stafford County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to kick the can down the road when it comes to approving its annual capital improvement budget on Tuesday. The Board will now take up the 10-year, $458 million proposed plan at its next meeting on Tuesday, June 19.

Tuesday, June 5, at approximately 1:00pm, Manassas City Police received a call from Prince William County Police Emergency Communications Center advising they received a 911 call from an unknown male stating he had a gun and was experiencing a mental health crisis near a Manassas City Public School.
STAFFORD — School buses are expected to roll again on Tuesday, but not down this street.
This past weekend’s heavy rains caused a small landslide, also called a “slope failure,” on Bells Hill Road in Stafford County. A fissure formed in the road as soil on the embankment below slid down into the waters of the Austin Run.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On June 2 at 12:58AM, officers responded to the Deewa Foodstreet and Banquet located at 14633 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call.
