STAFFORD COUNTY — (Press Release) A suspect was arrested on Monday by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after he was observed urinating on a mailbox and subsequently fled on foot from deputies.

On August 5, 2019, at approximately 5:49 p.m., Deputy Gordon responded to reports of a suspicious person in the area of Regency Drive, near Park Ridge Elementary School. A man subject was seen urinating on a mailbox and a sign.


NORTH STAFFORD — After it rains, the tennis courts at the Apple Grove community in North Stafford are submerged in water. 

When the neighborhood was built in 2000, the developer of the neighborhood lined with single-family homes built the courts in a floodplain, behind, and down a hill from the houses. 


MANASSAS PARK — Manassas Park officials are bucking a regional trend of doing not requiring its residents to post decals on their vehicle windshields.

After doing away with them in 2017, the city will once again require residents to pay for the stickers that prove they paid their city taxes, and are a city resident.

The main event is being held at Stafford Marketplace and 13 neighborhoods are holding their own celebrations. Last year, more than 8,000 people enjoyed the fantastic family-friendly event sponsored by the Stafford Sheriff’s Office at Stafford Marketplace.
