Stafford sheriff’s office press release | FRAUD — Pinkerton Court, 01/06, 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that an individual impersonating a deputy with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office called him and said he missed jury duty.

Consequently, he needed to pay a fine in the amount of $1111.00 using gift cards. The resident realized the call was a scam and immediately reported it to the Sheriff’s Office. The incident is under investigation.


It’s one of Stafford’s largest and largely empty office complexes and it is about to be rebranded under new ownership.

Press release | The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle crash that killed two people on Monday on White Oak Road.

On January 6, 2020, at approximately 12:31 p.m., deputies responded to a head-on collision at the intersection of White Oak Road and Kendallwood Drive. When deputies arrived, witnesses reported observing a silver 2017 Acura RDX drift over the centerline into the eastbound lane and strike a white 2017 Nissan Rogue head-on.

Taxpayers are about to give the owner of a shopping center in Stafford County about $1,300 $24,000 to lease 10 parking spaces over the course of six months.

The George Washington Regional Commission will pay $1 per space, per workday to lease at the Claiborne Run Shopping Center, located at 1 Jadip Lane in Falmouth.
