Stafford County Parks and Recreation Employees will conduct smoke testing at Woodlands Pool at 2 Northampton Boulevard in North Stafford between now and Friday.
The tests will be done each night at 9 p.m. and involve blowing smoke into the air circulating system in the dome-covered pool to see how it reacts in varying conditions, county officials say.
The charity is looking at two parcels in the Lake Arrowhead neighborhood, off Arrowhead Drive and Garrisonville Road (Va. 610), to build at least one home that will house a family that organization officials in a letter to the Stafford County Board of Supervisors stated “would like to stay in the county.”
In 2006, the County Board accepted two parcels of land in the neighborhood as a gift, according to county documents.
