Dumfries, Va. –– More than 60 people had a paranormal experience at the Dumfries Community Center on Saturday.

The Weems-Botts Museum presented “Paranormal Research 101,” where Krystal Porras, founder and director of 3:33 AM Paranormal Research, shared the differences between “paranormal investigators” and “ghost hunters.”

A free community resource, the PotomacLocal.com’s calendar contains great ideas to keep you busy right where you live.

Start this weekend off at Hoops Fest, where you can check out local basketball talent dunking for a cause.  Tickets to the event at C.D. Hylton High School are $10 and proceeds from the event will benefit a local Afghanistan Veteran who’s been paralyzed from the waist down.
