North Stafford, Va. –– Perhaps he was thirsty, or it was because he never got enough calcium as a child, or maybe he had a thing for dressing like a farm animal.
Whatever the reason Stafford sheriff’s authorities say a man donned a cow costume and not walked, but crawled into a Walmart store on Garrisonville Road (Va. 610) in North Stafford at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Beginning Monday May 2, Decatur Road at the intersection of Widewater Road will close for two weeks as crews work to repair the drainage on the shoulders of the roads.
The Virginia Department of Transportation has placed electronic message board signs in the area to warn drivers of the impending closure.
Crews from 13 fire and rescue stations were called at 2 p.m. to the area of Adler Lane in Stafford County for a report of a brush fire.
They arrived to find three acres of burning brush, but over the course of the next four hours would have to battle a fire that extended up to 10 acres of land, said Stafford fire and rescue Battalion Chief Joseph Grainger.
