Stafford County is pleased to once again host one of the world’s largest physical security/force protection-related equipment demonstrations at the Stafford Regional Airport on May 17-19, during the eighth Force Protection Equipment Demonstration (FPED) VIII.
Almost 600 vendors with more than 3,000 technologically advanced products are setting up shop at the airport so that physical security/force protection professionals can touch, feel and see the latest in security equipment technology.

About 9 p.m. Friday, Stafford sheriff’s deputies were called to a CVS Pharmacy on Garrisonville Road (Va. 610) by an employee who said he had fake order for a prescription.
A call from the pharmacy to the doctor’s office listed on the order also revealed the order was fake, and that’s when deputies posted outside the pharmacy and waited for the suspect to return, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
